"Soft Close" of CO posting periods
Question: All,
I've searched the boards & no joy so here goes........
SAP R/3 4.6C
I am looking for a way to "soft close" CO posting periods i.e. via OB52 a period can be locked but users within usergroup x can still post during the period being closed.
Having looked at OKP1 & the supplied documentation I can't see any way of doing this.
Can you please let me know if this is possible? If it is, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Answer:
A possible work around is for you using OB52 control users within usergroup x will be the only ones authorized to post to the p&l accounts.
All other users would be exclude, not authorized to post to these accounts, as you may have today for other closing requirements.
