Controlling Area, 2 Company Code
Question: Dear all,
We have a design for 1 Controlling Area with 2 Company Code
(e.g. UK00, 1101 and 1102). Can we have 2 different set of
profit center and cost center for each Company Code ? As I
saw in the PCtr/CCtr hierarchy, just enter Controlling Area ?
Any hints about this ??? Thanks a lot
Answer:
yeah u can. both company code will share the same hierarchy. and the hierachy can have two set of profit center grops with profit centers under them.

Nevertheless, each profit center as well as each cost center must be unique since "only" the controlling area is the key of these master data.
Answer:
Ya, same for cost centers. You will have only one standard hierarchy, but you can divide your 2 company codes at the first level of the cost center groups.

Yeah, thanks for everyone.
I have create 2 different group under 1 Hier. and then I use
KE56 to unassign the company code for those Profit Center that
is not belong to that company code.
