Asset Creation / Dep'n in sap fico

*URGENT* Asset Creation / Dep'n

Question: Dears,

I'm seeking a solution for the following: (Dep'n start at month of purchase)

An asset was purchased in Feb but forgot to create master & acquisition post'g in SAP till after execution of Feb's dep'n run.

How can I include this asset back in Feb to execute a restart for Feb dep'n to include this asset dep'n.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

hi,

You can post the acquisition in feB with value date of asset as feb 2004.

Then do the depreciation run repeat run for the month of feb2004.

capitalization date of the asset in the periood you want.

depreciation will take from the date you inform for every epreciation area.

postings will be done with the values calculated based on that parameter, but posted on currrent period.
