AM-Depreciation Repeat Run in sap fico

(Urgent) AM-Depreciation Repeat Run

Question: dear all,

i have found incorrect data after i had run depreciation for dec '02.
Suppose the asset is belong to production department, but i wrongly assign it to admin department and it affects FI and CO module.

Can i know what are the necessary steps to correct this data?....
I have tried to repeat run depreciation for the related asset in development system but there is no batch input session was created. No data was changed!.....

Pls help.......

Answer:
Once you have executed the production run of depreciation you cannot change. I think the only way is take the report of cost center wise depreciation and find out what should have been posted and pass the adjustment through reposting in CCA.

I have test to change the cost center in asset master and repeat run the depreciation of that asset in development system, but no BATCH INPUT SESSION is created for me to process.

I am worried when i do it in production system, it will happen the same way.

Let say if repeat run of depreciation is sucessfully run, will it oso change the FI and CO data ?
