"GL Relevant to Tax: Check Code" Error
Question: Hi folks,
I have an unusual error here. I'm in v.4.6.
My developer is getting the following message "G/L account 503103 is relevant to tax; check code" when trying to upload documents via an interface.
Now, I know that these setting are in FS00 >> Control Data for the GL Account. However, this account is set for "All Tax Types Allowed" and also for "Posting without Tax Allowed".
Thus, SAP should not be producing this error message indicating a Tax Code is required on the incoming (interfaced) line item to this GL Account. But it is...
Does anyone have any ideas? Please, this is urgent.

Check your field status variant. Regardless of account setup master data, the field status variant may have been set to make tax jurisdiction or tax code mandatory.
