"DocTy AF for dep. posting in cocd is not for batch inp
Question: Can anyone interpret message no. AC068?
This warning occurs when I am doing Prod Startup consistency check for AA. As mentioned in the message, "if any such manual postings are made (also using this doc type), this causes problems in later dep. posting runs". Is it actually that serious and deserves my attention? After all, Doc type AF is not marked "batch input only" in default SAP std settings. Why SAP still recommends it?
Thanks,
Sophia

Hi Sophia,
Im not sure if im right . But maybe its coz Doc Type AF, has an external no. range, and the nos. are given from Asset Accounting to FI, hence resulting in a conflict in case u do a direct posting with this doc. type.

shibi.
