A budget structure element (BS element) is an object in a budget structure.
Use
You can use BS elements to map the hierarchy relationships in a budget structure. The budget structure elements are also assigned budget.
The budgets of the BS elements display the forecasts for personnel expenses in a financial year and are entered in the budget currency. The funds for financing persons and positions are provided by the budgets of the budget structure elements.
Structure
The characteristics of a BS element are defined by the BS element types in Customizing. These characteristics are:
· The budget units: Evaluated amounts (part-time equivalents) or monetary funds
· The description
This is the name of the budget structure element (for example, individual plan, chapter, section).
· Allocation Options
The terms allocation possible and allocation not possible define that the budget of the BS element for financing persons and position can be used or represent a summarization item.
