SAP Financial Year

Use

The financial year refers to the validity period of the position. The position plan for a financial year is valid for a particular financial year. Position plans without financial years are valid for a longer period, which can be determined individually. There are different processing options available for position plans with and without financial years.

Features

You define the validity period when you create the root object.

Note

There can also be budget structure elements or budget rules with longer validity periods in position plans with a financial year. You can find more information under Structure linkRuntime.

The following restrictions apply to non-financial year position plans:

· No management of the various budget statuses of the personnel budget

· No budget update

· No management of funds from secondary sources because the budgets assigned to the individual BS elements are only used in full-time equivalents.
